Gallery 1 - Paintings
Paintings, sketches and drawings are made with SketchBook Pro running on an iPad with and an Apple Pencil. A great way to draw on the fly.
Gallery 2 - Models
Models are built in SketchUp Pro 2021. This is a collection of 3 dimensional drawing tools composed of lines and planes formed into objects in XYZ space. Tools include moving and rotation of objects and extrusions of 2D planes.
Gallery 3 - Renders
Upon completion of a model, one can apply additional materials and textures, lighting and atmospheric (fog, clouds) effects. Renders are a realistic view of a model that is often hard to distinguish from reality.
Gallery 4 - Animations
Animations are created in SketchUp, using the Scenes tool and moving the “camera” to different points in space. Camera settings can be adjusted (lens focal length, etc.) much like working with a real camera. MP4 clips and be manipulated and sound added with additional video editor software.
