Artist Statement

Every day is Christmas morning. Assembling the tricycle without even studying directions. With unused parts left over. That’s how I approach my projects -- intuitively. I learn by doing. Cleaning up my mistakes along the way. Starting over if necessary. And in each cycle, I gain greater understanding of the medium and attempted mastery over it. Digital art has become my creative laboratory. I get lost in the doing and making -- lost in the enchantment that lies somewhere between boredom and anxiety.

Digital Memories. Many of the images in this site are made from models of things from my past. Most of them things and places that no longer exist — or, even in some cases, never existed.
